Scooter Size Guide
Choosing the correct scooter size helps you ride with comfort, control, and confidence.
Here’s a quick guide to helping you choose the right scooter for a perfect fit:
Where the bars should sit:
- Ideal handlebar height is between your midriff and hips
- This position offers the best balance of comfort and maneuverability
- Use our charts below to see how our scooters sit with selected heights.
Match the scooter to your riding style:
-
Upright Riding Style (common in street riding)
Choose the higher end of your recommended scooter height, so that the bars sit closer to your naval, rather than down at the hips. -
Stooped or Aggressive Riding Style (common in park riding)
Choose a scooter height that sits more towards your hip-height.
Tip: If you’re between two sizes, choose based on your riding style — upright riders go taller, park/aggressive riders go shorter.

A note about skill level when selecting a scooter:
All Root Industries scooters are designed and built for any skill level from beginner to pro level, so you don't need to worry about whether a Root Industries scooter will be appropriate for your skill level...it's all about selecting the scooter that suits your size and style.
